Managing Director Bill Champness founded the company in 1997, with business partner Michael Tu. Their initial strategy was to focus solely on providing Dell spares, to enable companies to update and upgrade their hardware, maximising its lifespan and performance.
Trading then as Hardware Associates, as one of the first companies of its kind in the UK, it experienced rapid growth. In the early days, deals were brokered not via LinkedIn or email of course, but by fax!
This initial premise is still at the heart of the company today and as it continued to adapt to the rapidly changing business environment and advancements in technology, the offering has expanded to cover all major brands, complete refurbished units and IT solutions, and extensive support.
